City of Hamilton, MT Zoning & Future Land Use Map Update
The Hamilton City Council approved the Zoning Code, Zoning Map and Comprehensive Plan updates on January 20, 2026. The updates will take effect on February 19, 2026
The next phase of the zoning update addressing parking requirements will begin in spring/summer of 2026. This website will not be updated until the next phase begins.

On January 20, 2026 the Hamilton City Council approved updates to the City's zoning code, zoning map, and Land Use Framework & Future Land Use Map of the Comprehensive Plan. Below you can learn more about the updates.
